Eyes that once held a beautiful bright light
Now contains the darkest sins
Hate has grown like a mold in your blood
Leaving poison to seep through your skin.
It would be easy to let you go
Find another soul to grow old with
Travel a road with fewer cracks
Journey through life peacefully and never look back.
But love somehow peaks from the shadows
Asking for a chance to start over again
And at that moment a star falls from the sky
Leaving your soft cheek no longer dry.
A tone once harsh, suddenly filled with grief.
Your actions no longer resembles a thief
As your heartbeat returns to a normal pace
Unspoken words between us as we embrace.
