 Author Shenette Pierce-About Page

Shenette Pierce have been writing poems and plays since the tender age of thirteen. She was born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and the lucky number seven out of eight children. Her first taste of writing came when her church director asked her to produce a rough draft for a Christmas play for their upcoming Christmas event, and the rest was history.

While attending the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, she participated in poetry contests and wrote her very first screen play in her junior year. Miss Pierce, eventually graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communication with Emphasis in Broadcast and Journalism in 2005.

Although the love of writing poems and plays had always been Miss Pierce’s passion, she went on to pursue other options in Dallas, Texas but the joy of creative writing and one day being a best-selling author eventually won her heart over, so she moved back to Arkansas rolled up her sleeves and started on her journey as being an author.

With hard work and dedication, Shenette released her very first short story fiction called Super Holiday Girl in December 2013. Her second short story titled Amador Lamon; Heart Healer is available for download. For Shenette Pierce, for 2014 will bring great things through Chris Jesus that strengthens her. For photos, press releases and more please contact: author@shenettpierce.com
